downtown nashville.
it took me awhile to love living in the city. even though ours is small in comparison to ny or san, i still had to grow into factory smoke instead of sweet honey dew smell, horns/whistles instead of birds/grasshoppers chirping, towers instead of mountains, traintracks instead of valleys, etc...

even though i still miss those things, my life has taken a 180. now i can't imagine a gas station without a credit card machine, not being able to walk two blocks to my fav shops/farmer's market, and most of all not being able to buy amazing chinese take-out via a drive-thru.

I suppose that the lushes mountains and the bustling city say the same to us. it took them time to enjoy our company. isn't that the way of life, constantly changing us in ways we never dreamed and slowly forcing us to love and be loved by those we thought we had lost or would never find again.
yummy hunans.
