life can be sweet...

every night before i trail off to bed, i have a piece of chocolate. not so great for the teeth, but wonderful for the dreams:))

every day has it's own demon, but what we choose to do during the challenge (facing the demon) determines how our day will end----when we close those eyes and say goodnight. do we choose to wake up ready for the day or wake up with dread? do we choose to be in a rush or take it all in slowly? do we say kind words to ourselves(and others)or do we choose to repeat the untruths and spread them (like wild fire:))

each day holds our peace for the night. will we rest easily when the time comes or halfheartedly snooze "zz" ----thinking of all we could "of" or "should of"? when the morning presses in ----dawning, calling our name----do we open one eye saying then what the day will be and the night proclaim?

Jesus, of course, like always, will always be there-----along with the new challenge, the demons of years past and the new one to come. but, will we let Him be our road truly traveled or less taken? will we search for the hope, the mercy, the forgiveness, the strength, the way, the truth, the light, the life?? will we so dare to be the ones who say to the demon of the day....."life will be sweet! Bring on the chocolate!!!!"
